• Spring Break to North Shore – March 2021

The Lord provided some great weather for us to go up to Duluth and stay in Canal Park. We had the best weather for going up further to Gooseberry to see the water falls. OMC BBQ was amazing again and highly recommended.

  • Florida in February 2021 – Clearwater, Orlando & Valentines Day

It was unseasonably warm down in Florida during our trip in February. It was about 80 degrees each day we were there. We stayed in Clearwater just off the beach for two nights and then went back and stayed in Orlando just outside of Universal. We found the best place ever to go walking in the town of Celebration around a series of lakes and shops. Someday we want to just have a condo down there in that town!

  • Valentines Day 2021

We were in Florida for Valentines Day and went to Bahama Breeze for dinner. When we got back to MN, flowers arrived for Lindsey.

  • Ice Fishing with Dad

Got to go ice fishing in December on Crooked Lake where we caught about 25 sunfish. Then in mid January (16th) we went to the Coon Rapids Regional Dam Park for the trout opener on lake Cenaiko. Dad caught a nice size trout 30 minutes after we got setup and fishing.

  • Full Fall Day! Annual Apple Orchard and Walk at Elm Creek Park

We met up with are annual crew of friends (Minus Abbie) at the Pine Tree Apple Orchard. It was so busy that we just walked around a bit and didn’t even end up going inside because the line was like 100 yards long. After that we went to downtown White Bear Lake for a meal at Key Cafe as well as to do a little holiday gift shopping. Later we went to Elm Creek Park in Maple Grove for a 4 miles walk through the trees on some new trails we haven’t been on before.

  • Stillwater in September

We hung out with some of friends all day Saturday by first getting gluten free donuts at the Grey Duck food truck. Next we went to Como Park and walked around the lake. It was super nice out, but no photos from the lake. Next we decided to go to Stillwater to walk around and get food at LoLo’s, which has the best wings I’ve ever eaten. Lastly, we came back to our house for a bonfire.

  • Wayzata Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Date

Lindsey and I both wanted dairy free ice cream so we decided to go on a date by first going to Maple Grove for salads at Crisp and Green. We walked around one of the Arbor Lakes behind the shopping centers (No pictures from here). We then headed down Wayzata on lake Minnetonka. We walked to Ben & Jerry’s and got our favorite dairy free ice cream, which is really the only place in the twin cities, that we know, of who has it.
