Phoenix in March
Lindsey and I had never gone somewhere warm over spring break so we decided we would go to Phoenix this past March!
Phoenix, was in the 70’s and 80’s while we were there, which felt great given that the Twin Cities was in the twenties and snowing.
My (Dave’s) uncle works for a Hilton Hotel and so we were able to use his friends and family discount to get a great deal on hotel in Mesa, Arizona. The hotel was only a year old, so everything was brand new inside.
One of things we did included going to a Japanese botanical garden in downtown Phoenix. We were able to walk around and feed about 400 koi fish.
We also went to the Phoenix Zoo on a nice sunny day and got to see a bunch of animals we don’t normally have at the MN zoo’s.
We had a great time miniature golfing too on our last day in Phoenix. Overall, we had a blast and would recommend everyone visit Phoenix some day! The city is super clean and easy to get around in. You many not want to go there before mid-march though as it can get cold there (30s-40s).
